On behalf of His beatitude Mar Louis, Archbishop Amel Nona announcing His excellency mar Baway bishop for Canada’s diocese

On behalf of His  beatitude Patriarch Mar Louis Rafael Sako, and during a formal meeting attended by their grace bishops Amel Nona and Baway Sorru, along with the virtue priests and nuns of Sydney diocese, where bishop Baway was in a short visit, His grace Mar Amel Nona, Archbishop of Australia and New Zealand, has announced the approval of His Holiness Pope Francis on the installation of Bishop Mar Baway sorru as a bishop of the Chaldean Diocese of Mar Eddy in Canada.
His grace bishop Nona wished Mar Baway all the success in his new mission, thanking him for his great efforts serving the church and asking the Holy Spirit to lead his steps in the administration of his new diocese with dedication, love and humility as his excellency is been always known by.
At the end of the meeting, bishop sorru thanked His Grace Bishop Nona and the virtues priests and nuns for their celebration, wishing for His grace Nona all the goodness and blessings of our Almighty Lord.
