Christmas Spiritual preparation for all activities members of St. Thomas the Apostle Chaldean Dioceses in Sydney

Under the patronage of His Grace Archbishop Amel Nona, and the supportive cooperation of our reverend fathers, St .Thomas the Apostle Chaldean Dioceses in Sydney had the annual Christmas Spiritual Preparation for the members of the activists groups from the three churches ( St. Thomas, St.Mary’s assumptions and St. Joseph church).

The Spiritual Retreat was held last Friday 21/12/2018 at St. Thomas Cathedral, honoured with the participation of His Grace Amel Nona who opened the program with the liturgical Rite of the Holy Eucharist Adoration that was followed with a spiritual program  which included: liturgical evening prayers, meditation and silence, reading the Holy Gospel and reflections.

In his speech: The Cognition of the Will of God, His Grace Archbishop Amel Nona emphasised on two directions: 

First: knowing the life of Jesus Christ that could be cognisant through the Holy Bible, Saints life, Fathers of the Church as well as our current faithful Church community. Second: Prayer, which is the path that lead us to be satisfied with God in God, to united with him, to constantly the receivers of His Grace.

After the spiritual program, all attendees along with His Grace and the reverend fathers turned into the Hall of St. Thomas Cathedral to have an enjoyable time and shared a light dinner together.
