تدابير وقائية ضد فيروس كورونا

تماشيا مع تعليمات الحكومة الفدرالية الأسترالية وبالتنسيق مع المطارنة الآخرين، حول الغاء التجمعات الكبيرة، وخاصة التي تتجاوز اعداد الحضور 500، ولخطورة فيروس كورونا وانتشاره السريع، فإننا نعلن بعض الاحتياطات والتدابير الوقائية:
أولا: سوف تبقى قداديس الاحد مع درب الصليب ولن تلغى. وسنعلمكم بأي مستجد بهذا الخصوص.
ثانيا: التجمعات الكبيرة في الكنائس التي يتراوح اعداد الحضور الى خمسمائة شخص سوف تلغى من جميع كنائس الأبرشية بداً من الاثنين 16/3/2020.
ثالثا: مدارس التعليم المسيحي في الكنائس والمدارس المستأجرة سوف تتوقف اعتبارا من يوم الاثنين القادم، والى اشعار آخر.
رابعا: إقامة التعازي للأشخاص المتوفين خارج استراليا ونيوزلندا سوف تلغى اعتبارا من يوم الاثنين المقبل والى اشعار آخر. وتنحصر التعزية في حضور القداس وتعزية أهل المتوفى خارج الكنيسة فقط.
خامسا: تلغى كافة النشاطات الخارجية – أي خارج الكنائس – من سفرات ورياضات روحية وزيارات.

نتمنى من الجميع الالتزام بهذه التدابير التي هي لخير الجميع، ونطلب الصلاة لرب المجد ان يخلصنا
من هذا الفيروس ويشفي جميع اوجاعنا.

Coronavirus Response
In response to the Australian Federal Government’s instructions prohibiting large assemblages and events of more than 500 people and the seriousness and rapid spread of the CORONA virus, and in coordination with other Bishops, we declare some preventive precautions and procedures:
First: Sunday Holy Masses as well as Friday Station of the Cross will remain with no cancelation. We will update you soon they inform us with new instructions.
Second: large gatherings of 500 people in churches will be cancelled from all parish starting from Monday 16th March 2020.
Third: The Catechism classes in churches and schools will stop from next Monday, until further notice.
Fourth: Condolence to the deceased persons outside Australia and New Zealand will be cancelled from next Monday until further notice. In Stead, it will be limited only by attending the Holy Mass and offer consolations to the family in the out-yard after Mass.
Fifth: All other activities out of the church: Picnics, festivals, spiritual retreats and visits are cancelled.

We hope everyone to abide these measures which are for the common good,
We pray together that the Lord save us from this virus and heals all our pains.
