St Thomas The Apostle Chaldean & Assyrian Catholic Diocese of AUS & NZ Chaldean Catholic Diocese – Sydney
On the end of the holy month of Mother Mary, which coincides with the feast of our Virgin Mary Queen of the Universe, the Chaldean Cathedral of St. Thomas the Apostle: Sydney-Australia, has held a beautiful celebration on Wednesday, 31/5/2017, in a great liturgical and spiritual ceremony that included daily liturgical prayers, rosary prayer and holy Mass which was offered by His Grace Bishop Amel Nona who gave a great sermon in which he stressed the importance of Giving Thanks to our Mother Mary for her love and blessings as an expression of trust, faith and joy for taking us towards her Son, our Saviour, through the prayers that we offer her. The Mass also included a very active participation of deacons and parishioners whom were joyfully praying and singing to our Mother in a very special way.
At the end of the Mass, His Grace, Bishop Amel Nona blessed the image of the Virgin Mary and the parishioners participated in a ceremonial procession followed by the coronation of the Holy Mother of the Universe by Father Hadeel Albabo.
We all thank the Holy Mother for all her blessings, love and compassion.
