His Grace Archbishop Amel Nona blessing the new chapel in St. Thomas Cathedral

بمناسبة الاحد الأول من تقديس الكنيسة ٢/١١/٢٠١٩  ترأَّس سيادة المطران مار اميل نونا صلاة المساء الطقسية الخاصة لهذا اليوم المقدس وذلك بعد افتتاح الكنيسة الصغيرة داخل بناء مكتب الكاتدرائية التي تم الانتهاء من العمل على ترميمها بجهود كبيرة من كل العاملين واشراف الاب هديل البابو.

بعد الافتتاح توجه سيادة المطران مع الاباء الافاضل والشمامسة ونخبة من المؤمنين الى داخل الكنيسة الجديدة حيثُ بارك سيادته مذبح الكنيسة وكل اركانها اثناء صلاة المساء الطقسية التي طافَ بها المصلّون في زياحٍ مهيب من الكنيسة الجديدة حتى داخل الكاتدرائية لتكملةالصلاة الطقسية والاحتفال بالقداس الالهي للاحد الأول من زمن تقديس البيعة.

On the occasion of the First Sunday of Consecration of the Church 2/11/2019, His Grace Archbishop Amel Nona presided the special liturgical evening prayer of this day after the opening of the Chapel that is located inside the office building of St. Thomas cathedral.

The new renovated chapel was finally done yesterday after long days of great efforts and hard work with remarkable and supportive supervision of Fr. Hadeel Albabo to complete it in a very beautiful way to be ready for the first Sunday of the dedicated season of consecration of Church to celebrate its opening. 

After the opening, His Grace Mar Amel Nona along with the reverend fathers, deacons and many members of faithful to start the evening prayer while His Grace was blessing the Alter and the whole church. Later, they all headed from the chapel to the cathedral with a venerable procession to complete the prayer and celebrate the Holy Mass.
