His Grace Archbishop Amel Nona standing up for Faith and Freedom in Red Wednesday Gathering 

Last Wednesday 28/11/2018 His Grace Archbishop Amel Nona has joined  the Red Wednesday event which was held in St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney to pray and stand up for Faith and Freedom  in solidarity with those persecuted for their peacefully held religious beliefs.
the program included a testimony of two witnesses of persecution for their Faith and Freedom, a video about the Christians persecution in the world and some speaches of Faith and honour to all people who gave us a great example of Christianity and the real faith in Jesus Cariste. At the sunset,  the facade of the Cathedral was lit up in red light to honour and draw attention to all who have been killed or experience oppression or persecution for their faith.
Red Wednesday is an initiative of Aid to the Church in Need a Pontifical Charity that supports Christians wherever they are persecuted or oppressed.
