His Grace Bishop Amel Nona hosting the Patriarch of Eastern Assyrian

On Wednesday morning 26/8/2017, His Beatitude Mar Georgis Saliwa, Patriarch of the Eastern Assyrian Church, has visited His Grace, Archbishop Mar Emil Nona the High respect, accompanied by four bishops:  Mar Mills Zia, Mar Awa, Abris Youkhnna, Mar Benjamin Elia Mar the anointed bishop to Victoria and New Zealand parish.

During the visit, the talk went around the general conditions of the Church and the current situation of the motherland. At the end of the visit, His Beatitude, the Patriarch of the Eastern Assyrian Church, thanked His Grace Archbishop Amel Nona for his participation in the episcopal ordination of the new Bishop of Melbourne and for visiting him when he came to Australia for the first time.
