St. Thomas the Apostle Chaldean Diocese welcoming Archbishop Bashar Warda and hosting Aid to the Church in Need presentation during Sunday Masses

Last Sunday morning the 14^th July 2019 we had the pleasure to welcome His Grace Archbishop Bashar Warda on his arrival from Ankawa- Erbil to Sydney for a short visit. His Grace offered the second Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Chaldean Cathedral on that day.

On the same day, St. Thomas Cathedral also hosted a representative of (Aid to the Church in Need) the Catholic origination that works faithfully to help and assists the persecuted and suffering Christians all over the world. Mrs. Cecilia presented a short talk in all Mass in the Cathedral about their service and how they help Christians, emphasizing on their aim and main pillars of work which are information, prayer and action.

We gladly and warmly welcome Archbishop Bashar Warda among us and pray constantly for the Aid to the Church in Need team for the great help they offer to our suffering Christians.
